Frequently asked questions
Are generated passwords stored anywhere?
No. Passwords are created in your browser and are never sent to a server, logged or saved. Copy the one you want into your password manager straight away.
How long should a password be?
Longer is stronger. Sixteen characters or more, drawn from several character sets, is a sensible default for important accounts.
Should I use the same password on several sites?
No. Use a different generated password for each site, ideally stored in a password manager, so one breach cannot unlock the rest.
